Prior to launching Stone Arch Organization Development, Scott held executive marketing and sales positions in higher education in Minnesota and Pennsylvania. He has also had corporate training experience (United Healthcare) in the medical health insurance industry. Scott's executive foundation allows for connectivity and genuine understanding of the complexity leaders and organizations endure.
Scott holds an Ed.D. in Organization Development, a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Concordia University, St. Paul. Scott's research interests focus on those who receive executive coaching and how they interpret the "lived experience" of the formal coaching relationship.
Scott is also an adjunct instructor at Concordia University, St. Paul, MN for the college of Business and Organizational Development and College of Education. He has a extensive curriculum and online course development background. Courses Scott has facilitated include Applied Business Ethics, Leadership Development, Managerial Research, Education Research and Trust: A Leadership Capacity.
Scott is married to Jennifer for 20+ years with four growing teenagers. The Morrell family is engaged in the community volunteering time, talent and resources with a variety of humanitarian causes such as Union Gospel Mission, Ronald McDonald House, Love A Child, Compassion International and Feed My Starving Children.
